The teachers receive these boxes as a 'reward' for attending professional development in their school holidays.
The resources supplied in the Kindy Boxes include stationary, creative play items, wooden educational resources and Handwriting Workbooks (produced in Tetum). During teacher training the teachers learn how to incorporate these resources into their teaching practice.
The Kindy Boxes are directly linked to a teacher's professional development.

Items such as a hole punch and stapler should last indefinitely but other items are consumables.
